Lodger tied up by landlord and dragged through streets of Salford while children were paid £10 to beat him with crow bar

A lodger was stabbed with a pitchfork then tied up and dragged around the streets in a torturous ‘public flogging’ after a fallout with his landlord.
Greg Dean had a rope thrown around his waist before pulled along a road as his two attackers offered local children £10 a time to beat him with a crowbar.
