Dave Landry’s Market in a Minute – Friday, 4/29/11

Random Thoughts
Again, take things one day at a time. With that said, so far, so good. The market once again closed at multi-year highs.
I was happy to see Rusty joining the party. It’s always a good thing when a broad based index is banging out new highs.
As a momentum junkie, I’d like to see some acceleration higher but I’m not going to complain as long as the market stays at new highs.
Since the methodology requires a pullback, I’m not seeing too many setups just yet. Hopefully, (I know hope in one hand and..) we’ll see that aforementioned acceleration and then an orderly pullback. Should that occur, we will see a plethora of setups. And, at that point, I will say “would you say I have a plethora of setups?” Tell me where I “borrowed” most of that quote from and I’ll give you a free month to my service. Already on the service? I’ll give you a high five-ah! (or a wet kiss, your choice)
Futures are flat to firm pre-market.
