Shine on: 3,500 people light up Manchester city centre in bid to raise £2m to fight cancer

Almost 3,500 cancer sufferers and fund-raisers lit up Manchester last night in a bid to collect £2m for research into the disease. They set off on 26 and 13-mile routes around the city centre, with many of them holding candles, for the second annual Shine walk. Manchester Evening News – RSS Feed
